Candidates

Everyone who has stood, and how they did

One profile per person: every election they appear in, the share they took, the places they carried and who they ran against. A candidate earns a page when they took half a percent of a national vote, finished in the top twelve, or came first somewhere — which is what puts mayors and district members here beside presidents.

A candidate is one canonical name within one country. Shares are of valid votes; a local candidacy is read in the place it stood, not against a national total it was never on the ballot for. Countries have their own profiles.
